Life Happens. Resilience Helps.

I often tell my clients that therapy and life coaching are like choosing to walk a new path. You’ve been travelling the same forest trail for so long that you could walk it backwards with your eyes closed. But lately, that path isn’t leading where you want to go. Maybe it feels less easy, less joyful than it once did.

Starting therapy or life coaching can be intimidating because the old path, while unhelpful, feels familiar and comfortable. Choosing a new one means facing uncertainty. You might get brushed by branches, trip over roots, feel lost, and even want to turn back.

But if you stick with it, with self-compassion and trust in the process, you’ll begin to carve out a brand-new trail that supports who you are now and who you’re becoming.

My Services

A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Reggie. I founded IRC&W because, at my core, I care deeply about people and the unique stories we carry. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Life Coach, my work is rooted in something simple but powerful, real human connection. I believe everyone deserves a place where they can show up exactly as they are, without judgment, without pressure, just two humans talking honestly and sharing an experience.

Like many of us, I’ve had my own experiences with hardship, which inspired my practice. I’ve been through seasons of life that were overwhelming, exhausting, confusing, and painful. I know what it’s like to feel lost, to question everything, and to wish someone could simply sit with me, listen, and help me make sense of things. Those moments shaped me and allow me to be a grounded, supportive presence for my clients.

Being a steady, compassionate presence for my clients is something I strive for. I truly enjoy being able to witness my clients rediscover their strength, rebuild trust in themselves, and reconnect with parts of their lives they once thought were lost. It’s humbling, and it’s an honour every single time.

At the heart of it all, I believe in being present, being real, and showing up for one another. That’s what matters most to me, and that’s the space I strive to create for everyone I work with.

FAQ

  • Clients must provide a 24-hour notice for cancellations. If the 24-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling has not been given, then the client is responsible for the full cost of the session. 15 minutes after the session's scheduled start time, if the client does not attend, it is considered a no-show, and the client is responsible for the full cost of the session.

  • When attending counselling, we focus on emotional healing, working through trauma, past events and challenges, present-day struggles, and grief. We will dive deep in sessions and work through all that feels heavy with evidence-based approaches. Life coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused and goal-oriented. It helps gain clarity, build motivation, and act toward personal or professional goals. Coaching is not clinical or diagnostic; we will not go as deep as we would in the counselling process.

  • Everyone can benefit from counselling. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally drained, anxious, depressed, grieving, or simply not like yourself, talk therapy can help. You don’t need to wait until everything feels like it’s falling apart to start caring for your mental health. And if it does feel that way, that’s okay too. Counselling is a place to find support. It’s a space to heal, be proactive, discover, grow, and evolve in whatever way fits you. The best way to know if it’s right for you is simply to try it.

  • When you work with me, we’ll work together in a collaborative process in a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can explore anything you’d like. In the beginning, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship by getting to know each other, earning your trust, and creating a safe environment for you to share. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. We’ll set goals and tailor sessions to support those goals. I’ll help you gain insight and offer tools and strategies tailored to your needs. There is never any obligation to discuss anything you’re not ready for. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to support you in whatever way I can.
