A little more about me

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and I’m a trained clinical counsellor committed to supporting individuals on their path to healing and growth. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique stories and challenges. It’s been an honour to walk alongside them as they rediscover their strength, build resilience, and find renewal in the face of life’s difficulties.

Like many of the individuals I work with, I’ve faced some of life’s most difficult moments. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, and in need of someone to simply be there, to listen with care and offer a grounded, supportive presence. That personal understanding is what drives my work. It is a privilege to be that steady support for my clients, and to witness their growth as they move through pain, reconnect with themselves, and step into a more empowered version of their lives.

When working with my clients, I use an integrative and client-centred approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centred (PCT), Solution-Focused Brief (SFBT), Trauma-Focused, and Mindfulness-based practices. I tailor each session to support the unique needs and preferences of every client.

My areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Burnout

  • Life transitions

  • Self-esteem

  • Grief

  • Relationship challenges

  • Emotional toll of perfectionism and high-achievement culture

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Dissociative Disorders (DID)

  • Behavioural challenges

  • Women’s issues

I approach these concerns with sensitivity, using trauma-informed and evidence-based practices that honour each person’s pace, resilience, and lived experience.
