A Little More About Me
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, and I feel truly privileged to have worked with people from many different backgrounds, each navigating their own unique mental health journey. In my work, I take an integrative, client-centred approach, meaning I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all path. We are complex beings, and I like to honour that. I draw from several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-focused work, and mindfulness-based practices. My goal is always to shape each session around what feels most supportive and meaningful for the person sitting across from me.
Some of the areas I commonly support clients with include:
• Anxiety
• Stress
• Burnout
• Life transitions
• Self-esteem
• Grief
• Relationship challenges
• The emotional weight of perfectionism and high-achievement culture
• Trauma and PTSD
• Dissociative Disorders (DID)
• Behavioural challenges
• Women’s issues
When I work with someone, we build their treatment plan together. I want my clients to feel that their goals, pace, and preferences are at the centre of the process. Most importantly, I want them to feel they have a partner walking alongside them as they navigate whatever they’re facing.
